Hey there,

…and welcome to our new monthly newsletter! Here, you’ll find insights from our offices and updates from the world of advanced hearing care.

We hope you enjoy reading them!

We wanted to start by saying that we’re all looking forward to the holidays after what has been a challenging year for both our team and the communities that they serve.

But despite these difficulties, there were also a number of positive things that emerged during 2020, and we would like to share them with you.

Our Positive Reflections

Over the past months, state-wide lockdowns have meant that many of us in Phoenix have spent more time at home than usual.

While this has been a difficult period, it has also given us more time with our loved ones and let us enjoy special moments with them.

The movement restrictions also meant that many of our favorite independent cafés, restaurants, and shops had to close temporarily during the past year.

But this made us recognize just how important these places are to our community, and as a team, we’re determined to support them into the future.

Lastly, the increased number of people wearing face masks has had an unforeseen effect during the pandemic: it’s made many people realize that they have a potential hearing loss.

This has meant that our teams have been able to treat people’s issues sooner than usual, helping those who may have otherwise waited years for the right hearing care.

If you have a hearing concern, don’t hesitate to contact our team of local specialists at 602-863-4203 (Glendale), 623-745-0828 (Surprise), or 623-248-3188 (Goodyear)

Updates from the Office

Just to let you know, the clinics will be closed from noon on December 24, December 25, December 31 from 3 pm, and January 1 over the holiday period. Please let us know if you need an appointment near these dates.

Holiday season at ascent audiology

In other news, we organised a staff team building event recently, where everyone at Ascent Audiology & Hearing prepared and handed out 100 meals to homeless folks in our communities.

It was a great occasion, and everyone was so happy to give back, especially at this time of year.

Struggling for a Holiday Gift?

The most important part of the holiday season is spending time with loved ones. But if you know someone with a hearing loss, there are also a few great gift options!

ReSound Multi Mic
ReSound device

These include TV streamers, which send sounds from your television straight to your hearing aids, and remote mics, which give you enhanced amplification when there’s lots of background noise.

If you’d like to know more about these potential presents, call your local office. The team there will be able to offer you expert advice!

Riddle me This!

Everyone at Ascent Audiology & Hearing loves playing games over the holidays (who doesn’t?!). So, with this in mind, we’ve prepared a series of riddles for you to try and guess!

A) What is always in front of you but can’t be seen?

B) What goes up and down but doesn’t move?

C) What has hands but can’t clap?

Think you know the answers? Hit “reply” on this email and send us your guesses!
