With the challenges of the past year, our team has never had so much love for you!
Ascent Audiology and Hearing was founded on helping others and educating them on their hearing loss.
Our founders, Daniel and Cynthia Hewson have always focused on the relationships they have made, whether it was with our patients, communities, churches, or independent/assistive living areas.
They have always connected with people and shown love and passion for changing their lives and the lives of their families.
Life is short, and we need to share their love, passion, and education about hearing loss and its many adverse effects to as many people who are willing to “hear” it.
Above all, your loyalty and patience this year have been noted, and we are so appreciative of your support.
From our entire team, thank you.
With love being in the air and your hearing health never being more important – we’ve combined the two to create our very own “love poem” for you.
O’ they say love is in the air, wherever it may be,
From hearing the birds chirping to the buzzing of a small bee.
Through platitudes of joy and praise in our daily conversation,
It makes you realize, hearing fuels the talking of our great nation.
And we are so thankful to have patients like yourselves
At the center of everything, you will always remain our world.
Hewson’s and the team made a promise that will never concede,
Ensuring that we will always be there for you, whatever you may need.
Connecting you with your loved ones through exceptional hearing care,
And breaking barriers that take you anywhere.
If this poem leaves you thankful, and wanting to make us smile,
We ask one small favor to help us all the while.
Above all, we wouldn’t be here without you,
And we promise to continue to allow you to break through.
Behind The Office Door
These past few months have been a whirlwind, and services have been expanded to ensure that all of your needs are catered for, with your safety remaining a number one priority.
This includes adapting the office to ensure it is COVID friendly and ensure it’s safe for you and other patients while continuing to be as friendly, warm, and welcoming as ever.
Our Tele Audiology service allows you to receive help from an audiologist from the comfort of your home with an innovative “live online appointment” feature. So, you can get award-winning hearing care without having to travel!
It’s our very special Madison Dyjak’s birthday this month!
She is our very hard working Au.D. extern that is loved by so many.
Happy Birthday, Madison! Thank you for all that you do for us.
It’s crazy to think Drew Barclay is celebrating his third anniversary with Ascent Audiology & Hearing!
Drew’s dedication and passion for the company is a true reflection of the great gentleman he is.
Congratulations on three years with us – we are truly grateful to have you on board!

Tinnitus Awareness Month
With over 50 million Americans suffering from tinnitus, it is estimated to affect nearly 15% of the general public.
Tinnitus manifests itself differently in each individual, and each person may experience a different sensation such as ringing in the ears or buzzing.
Above all, the condition for everyone is persistent, and there is no cure. If you suffer from tinnitus, you’ve probably become more aware of it after reading this (sorry)!
This month is Tinnitus Awareness Month, and that’s why we aim to spread awareness on the condition, highlighting the options available and tackling it face on.
Unfortunately, as a result of the pandemic, many people are feeling more stressed and we know that this contributes toward making tinnitus more prevalent.
If you have any concerns about tinnitus or you have a loved one with tinnitus challenges, then please get in touch, so we can help you move forward
