Chris Wahl

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Christopher Wahl, Au.D. grew up on a wheat farm and cattle ranch in northeastern Colorado. He was drawn to Audiology from his early experiences playing football with Deaf teammates in Greeley, Colorado where he went on to work as an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter and help Educational Audiologists serve the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and their families.

Dr. Wahl earned his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in 2008 and his Master of Science (M.S.) degree in 1999 from the University of Arizona. He has over 24 years of experience helping people of all ages who suffer from hearing loss, tinnitus, and vertigo. Dr. Wahl strives to reduce the risks associated with untreated hearing loss and cognitive decline by providing expert adjustment and tuning of premium technology hearing aids. The negative effects of tinnitus can be treated successfully with appropriate auditory stimulation, and there are many exercises and recommendations to help those who suffer from vertigo.

Dr. Wahl is happily married and a proud father of five daughters and a son-in-law. He enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and family, travelling, hiking, swimming, riding horses, and exploring new and interesting places.

I am very impressed with Ascent Audiology. I called to make an appointment to address a problem with my hearing aids. They called to see if we could address the issue over the phone. We solved most of the issue but when we couldn’t get it completely fixed they gave me the manufacturer’s number to see they could fix the issue without me having to come to the office. They are very professional and helpful.

Brian and Suzy are always prompt, professional, thorough and have great personalities. Ashley at the front desk is also top notch. Would not hesitate to recommend this practice.

I took my dad for a hearing test at this office, the front desk lady is very nice and welcoming, the office is clean and well decorated. Doctor Baber and his medical assistant Suzie, were very nice and polite, they made us feel welcome too. They were very patience with my dad and explain to us accordantly. Also doctor Baber, clean up my dad's ears with delicacy and patience. After that I made an appointment to clean up my ears too, and believe it or not but we all need to do that at certain point in our lives. I highly recommend this office to all of you, even if you don't need hearing aids yet.

I love the staff here! They are the most welcoming and knowledgeable people you can find. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've been a patient of theirs since last year and my experience is always top notch. I very highly recommend them.
