Dr. Elissa Kawamoto

AuD, Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Kawamoto earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona State University. An Arizona native, she has always called the desert home, but her heart is never far from the ocean.

Dr. Kawamoto is known for taking the time to truly listen, understand each patient’s unique communication needs, and develop personalized treatment plans that fit their lifestyle and goals. She is passionate about educating patients and empowering them to make confident, informed decisions about their hearing health.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Kawamoto’s greatest joy is her family. As a proud toddler mom and bonus mom to five amazing kids, she enjoys making memories together, supporting her children’s many interests, and finding joy in life’s everyday moments. Whether she is helping a young professional thrive at work, a parent stay engaged with family, or a grandparent hear their grandchildren’s laughter more clearly, Dr. Kawamoto considers it a privilege to be part of each patient’s journey.

I am very impressed with Ascent Audiology. I called to make an appointment to address a problem with my hearing aids. They called to see if we could address the issue over the phone. We solved most of the issue but when we couldn’t get it completely fixed they gave me the manufacturer’s number to see they could fix the issue without me having to come to the office. They are very professional and helpful.

Brian and Suzy are always prompt, professional, thorough and have great personalities. Ashley at the front desk is also top notch. Would not hesitate to recommend this practice.

I took my dad for a hearing test at this office, the front desk lady is very nice and welcoming, the office is clean and well decorated. Doctor Baber and his medical assistant Suzie, were very nice and polite, they made us feel welcome too. They were very patience with my dad and explain to us accordantly. Also doctor Baber, clean up my dad's ears with delicacy and patience. After that I made an appointment to clean up my ears too, and believe it or not but we all need to do that at certain point in our lives. I highly recommend this office to all of you, even if you don't need hearing aids yet.

I love the staff here! They are the most welcoming and knowledgeable people you can find. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've been a patient of theirs since last year and my experience is always top notch. I very highly recommend them.
