Kay was adamant that her hearing was good. She recalls, “I was in denial all the way. Then I had a full hearing test as a result of a screening done at my doctor’s office. I was surprised at how much I couldn’t hear. I thought I was developing Alzheimer’s. I was delighted to find that hearing loss symptoms and Alzheimer’s symptoms are very similar! Who knew?” Upon visiting Ascent Audiology, Kay felt that the team had “compassionate care for me,” and she notes that there was “no sales pressure at all.” Thanks to her new hearing aids, Kay says, “I can hear the birds singing again; I can have a conversation without straining; and I am past the tiredness that came with the initial adjustment period.” Kay rates Ascent Audiology a 10/10. She advises potential patients, “Go for it. They are honest and clear about what is possible and can make sure you understand what is happening.”
